Publisher review:Clinappt is a computer program which organisations providing services to clients can use to make and record appointments and to keep simple client records. The program is easy to set up and maintain. Once a standard week has been established, it archives completed weeks each Monday and adds a standard week at the end of the chosen record keeping time (up to thirty weeks). The operator just enters variations to the standard week caused by staff leave
Clinappt allows a clinic to have up to 20 professionals with up to six working at any one time. However it is a worthwhile purchase for a clinic with just one worker. It allows three sessions per day with up to 25 appointments per session. When started it shows the current session on the screen and single click operations move through sessions, days and weeks
The program keeps full client names and addresses if desired, but can import from or export to other programs. Appointments made are recorded in a simple text file which can be used to keep client records. Email reminders of appointments can be sent to clients two days, one week or two weeks before the appointment and a report gives the phone numbers of those who do not have an email address. Minimum data required is Name, Date of Birth, Phone, Email and client record number. The program establishes a text for for each client which can be edited and added to using the computer's default text editor
Clinappt is a shareware program which can be easily downloaded and installed. It can be used 50 times before registration
